Like our milk, our cream products are not homogenized and are pasteurized using
low heat pasteurization. Unlike many larger dairies, we do not use any stabilizers
so our cream remains light yet still rich.
- Half and Half
-
Cream naturally rising to the top is about 20% butterfat compared with 4% from the cow.
When the cream and milk are mixed, the result is Half & Half, which is about 12% butterfat.
Half & Half is perfect for coffee or tea. It is also an ideal choice for making ice cream. Simply
use it in your ice cream recipe as an alternative to combining whipping cream and whole milk.
- Whipping Cream
- Standardized at 38% milk fat.
This whipping cream is light,
but whips up beautifully.
It also works well in savory preparations
such as sauces and soups and any unused
cream can be turned into delicious butter.
