The A2/A2 Difference
A2/A2 genetics means the cows produce only the A2 type beta-casein protein. Some research has shown A2/A2 cow’s milk to be easier to digest than the A1 milk that is predominantly found in stores today.
A2 is the milk protein cows produced before they were first domesticated over 10,000 years ago. All human milk is A2, so it is naturally recognized by the body and properly digested - unlike A1 protein which the body sees as a toxin, and works to remove through digestive upset, eczema, inflammation, etc.
